True Dwarf Cory Corydoras habrosus a.k.a. Dainty Cory, Pygmy Cory see below for options to puchase either Habrosus or Pygmaeus variants. NOTE: On occasion, we may substitute Nano Dwarf Cory Cats Corydorus pygmaeus, if we run out of the C. habrosus. The main difference is C. habrosus is spotted, the C. pygmaeus is striped. Same Disposition and Characteristics as Habrosus, only difference is Pygmaeus is striped and Habrosus is Checkered.  A small mid-water swiming, schooling cory. This cory is a very active swimmer. An ideal bottom feeding scavenger that will also eat many mico-organisms on plant leaves. Will do best in larger colonies or schools. It is not uncommon to see 50 or 60 of these cories grouped in a tank size of 120 gallons or so. They will retreat or use a large piece of driftwood as their home base. Females in this species will be slightly larger than the males, especially during breading season, which occures in the height of summer months. The only difference between Habrosus, Pygmeus and Hastatus is: speckled, stripped and single spotted. They are all the same size, and have the exact same disposition. Size at shipping 1/4" -1/2".
