The typical way to tell the difference between a male or female is to look for the female's ovaries with a bright light. This is another very shy, and peaceful fish we offer that is easy to keep, and breed. They come from the shallow waters of Cambodia so they are ideal for small aquariums. They will thrive best in tanks that are well-planted with rocks. This Gourami is an omnivore that is known to nibble on algae. Remember how little this fish stays when considering your purchase.
