Read an article on this fish at Cichlid-Forum. The Electric Blue Cichlid originates from Lake Malawi and does well with other aggressive cichlids, but will be aggressive toward other smaller fish. Ideal candidate for those of you that can't keep a planted tank as this fish will more than likely uproot all plants introduced anyway. A rocky terrain tank will be most suitable. This species is simple to keep, and breed, but appropriate levels of salt and trace elements should be added to the aquarium to promote proper health. Size at shipping: about 3/4 - 2" SHIPS GREAT!
