Ammania senegalensis is quite an easy plant to grow in the aquarium and also used in many pond applications.  It has broad green leaves that may have an attractive bronze color depending on it's growing conditions.  It is not a demanding plant in the aquarium and will do well with good quality lighting and frequent water column fertilization.  CO2 will greatly increase its growth!  It is very tolerant of higher temperatures, doing well even up to 90°  It makes an ideal midground or background plant when planted in groups.
