This is a very heavy duty, 145 gph (gallon per hour), with multi-use versatility. Ideal for undergravel filters, water circulation, and custom applications.

Horticulturist's Tip: Try using this small powerhead on a timer to run when your lights turn "off", and have the powerhead run until your lights turn back "on". This is helpful for both CO2 and non-CO2 injected aquariums as this will release any unneeded or harmful gases from your aquarium when your plants don't use these gases anyway. It will promote clarity and oxygen. Plus, if you have a CO2 system on a solenoid and the solenoid happens to stick one night by accident, this $20 investment could potentially save your entire aquarium by releasing all of the excess CO2 gas that is lethal if injected when your lights are off.
