Caridina babault sp. Rainbow

a.k.a. Spear shrimp

Size: up to 3/4" pH: 6.5+7.5, Temp: 55-88F Origin: India/Malaysia

These are becoming very popular with aquarists as they are inexpensive shrimp and YES they do eat green hair algae! We have had some awesome colors appear on our Rainbow's (hence the name Rainbow Shrimp). We have seen Blues, Rust Red to Dark Brown, Deep Yellow/Tan, and some other colors (see more pic variants below). They are about the same size as a Red Cherrys. Combats Green Hair Algae. Size at shipping: assorted small about 1/2" or so.

Stocking Ratio: 5 shrimp per gallon.
