Red Striped Burmese Rasbora Aka Emerald Dwarf Rasbora This is a loosely shoaling active fish. The Red Striped Burmese Rasbora has a blue-green base color with light vertical bars down the flanks. Sexing these fish can be difficult, but usually the male is more colorful than the female. These are a sociable little fish appreciating a large company of its own, so keep in a group of at least 6. Our pools may have 1000 or more in just 1 group. These are a small sized fish like the Galaxy Rasbora, so any tank mates would have to be carefully considered. These are ideal fish for micro habitats or small nano aquariums. This is an easy fish to keep and care for, and will accept most foods as long as they're small such as small pellets, crumbled flake, daphnia or brine shrimp. These fish need soft water to thrive and provide open swimming spaces as well as dense plantings to hide in!
