This is an extremely rare fish in the aquatic hobby. Consider yourself lucky if you happen to own these amazing fish! Panda Garra is an ornate sucker-mouth loach that is a member of the minnow or carp family. It features broad, alternating bands of light and dark coloration with unique markings that are highlighted with diamond-shaped scale patterns and hints of red coloration in its fins. Due to its unusual markings and peaceful nature, the Panda Garra makes a great addition to most any aquarium or pond.
In native waters, Panda Garra inhabits well-oxygenated, fast-flowing streams. So, the addition of a powerhead or the use of a slightly oversized filter will increase filtration and water movement to help recreate these natural conditions.
Panda Garras are omnivorous, so their diet should consist of a good mix of prepared algae wafers, blood worms, and a variety of other foods.
