Thank you. I want to say, these olive nerite snails are worth every penny. My tanks were pretty full of algae, and now they are sparkling clean, even the gravel. I didn't know what I was going to do about the gravel but they've gotten it all cleaned up.

As a new customer I thought you might like a report regarding my order and
experience.  Firstly, the plants you sent are absolutely gorgeous and top notch.  I have
had good luck with the shrimp as well (8/8 survivors for the red-nosed shrimp
and 11/12 survivors for the cherry shrimp).  I really have to hunt for the shrimp though (moving a rock) to find them do they get less shy?  When I do, they are so vibrant in color.
Lastly, my luck ran out for the Featherfin rainbow fish (2 DOE, one died after
a few days and the last little guy doesn't look happy).  I don't have any
aggressive fish but the 75 gallon tank seems a bit overwhelming for such tiny
fish.  Overall, a very positive experience and I'll be back in the future.  I see
now why your website says 50 shrimps in a 50 gallon tank is no problem.

I would like to start by saying that I am very pleased overall with my
recent purchase from you of 45 Amano Shrimp.  The order arrived right on
time and in overall good quality.  This was my first purchase from
Arizona Aquatic Gardens and I can honestly say that I will have no
hesitation in ordering again from you in the future. 

The acclimation tip sheet that accompanied the shrimp said to notify you
of any DOA's; out of the 45 shrimp in the order, 4 were not alive when I
unpacked the 2 bags of shrimp.  I'm not sure how you handle "crediting"
the losses for future purchases so please let me know if there is
anything else that I must do other than notifying you with this email.

Again, overall I am very pleased with this purchase experience.
Unfortunately for the industry there are many less than reliable aquatic
dealers operating online so it is refreshing to find a reliable company
such as yours.

Just want to say thanks for the excellent Customer Service. We received our order today. Only one of 14 shrimp ordered died (cherry shrimp, poor guy) . Peter, I received my plant order yesterday (Friday) - can't tell you how pleased I was (am!).  I've been buying fish - stuff by mail - since  - well - for so long that I can actually remember when the world was originally in black and white - God hadn't even invented color yet - and these are the best plants I 've ever seen!! How do you grow them (the sword and sag. so perfectly and so green with no algae??  I've mentioned in our last phone conversation that I had high hopes in the up-coming Nov. election - of being written in as "Dictator of the World"- but I am now seriously considering withdrawing my nomination - and instead nominating you and your wife to be "King and Queen of the World"! AAG Staff - I haven't visited the website in quite a while and I was surprised by the new look!  Looks great and much easier to navigate.  It's been about a year since I've ordered plants and have to say that they are doing wonderful!  Crypts, Java Ferns, and Anubias are spectacular!  They take a bit of a beating because my schedule can be crazy at times so tank maintenance can be irregular, but the plants come through every time.  I attribute it to their overall health when received.  Just wanted to say thanks for all your hard work!  I'll be ordering again soon!   Cheers!  Eric G., Olympia, WA

Received the shrimp and they were great. They acclimated easily per your
directions though cutting those bags is a bit of a challenge as my scissors
bound on the soft plastic of the bags. The shrimp took to my planted tanks
almost immediately and were busily manicuring the plants. Thanks again.

Ok, so I don't want to sound annoying, but honestly, these American flag fish are amazing!  You really should promote them more.  At one week, when my brackish tank in front of my west facing window was normally full of algae, 6 of these cute, spunky, able-to-fend-off-the-puffers fishies have kept it clean.  Granted, the rocks are FULL of poo, but, that's alot easier to clean :) Thanks for the fish, I will be in touch.  Chris E., Manhattan Beach CA

Hello. I received my 8 bluefin killies today. New York is absolutely frigid now (it was below 0 last night; windchill made it feel 25 degrees below 0!). All eight survived the trip and seem to be doing great. These fish are absolutely amazing!!  Unfortunately, all 3 Ninja shrimp came DOA.  I ordered a grand total of 18 pygmy cories, 3 Gardneri killies, 8 Bluefins, 2 cherry shrimp, and 2 Rudolph red-nosed shrimp, as well as plants. The losses were extremely light, especially given the severity of a NY winter. The DOA count is 1 cory, 1 Gardneri, 1 Rudolph shrimp, and the 3 Ninjas. The surviving Rudolph and another (1) cory arrived alive but not well...they perished the same day. I spoke to a rep on the phone. I wish I could remember his name to compliment him, as he was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and continued to boost my already high opinion of your company. Can I get replacements for DOAs or AAG credit? How does that work? If you are in a position to replace/give credit, I understand if you do not wish to include the second dead cory and second Rudolph shrimp, as they did technically arrive living, and perhaps they would have survived in someone else's tank. The 1 cory, 1 Gardneri, 1 Rudolph and 3 Ninjas arrived dead.   I am VERY happy with AAG. I am very impressed with the survival rate (I don't blame AAG for the deaths of tiny, delicate shrimp that happened to have the bad luck of getting shipped right in the middle of a freak subzero Arctic blast) and all your specimens are excellent. The plants I ordered were the most stunning examples of those species I had ever seen. But mostly, I am very happy to deal with a company that is so responsive and helpful. I've emailed with questions about my livestock several times before, and received friendly and accurate responses to every one of them, all within a day or so of sending them. It's really great to deal with a company that treats its costumers as people instead of dollar signs. I look forward to many future orders!

order more and how often do I have to replace them in the filter. also can i

Dear Chaz,I believe that every business especially online ones needs good references so people can “see” whom they are buying from. You may certainly put up a message from me edited in a way that won’t get you in trouble J. I just wanted YOU to know whom I had bought from. "NAME WITHHELD" is the only source and my sister and I went in and told them (with proof) that most of what they were selling was not true aquatics. I really do appreciate the lengths you go through to make sure the plants arrived safely. It is VERY cold here and while the “OTHER” plants I got were in “good” condition and seem to be doing well in my tank, YOURS are FABULOUS. Just like you had trimmed them and handed them to me right from the tank. After getting some bad advice from my local aquarist for the treatment of black algae, I used a bleach treatment to dip my plants in.  As a result I lost 3/4 of my plants.  Arizona Aquatic Gardens came to my rescue.  Not only did you guys give me some great advice, you treated me like one of  your family.  With the addition of some American Flagfish and some other tips (trade secrets!) my 225 gallon tank is again thriving.  Not only do you have the best plants I have ever seen (and yes, I have seen alot) they are also the lowest priced.  Consider me a lifetime customer.  Yes, you may use my name.   John D. Hello:  I just received my plants today, they are wonderful!!!!!!  I had a bad experience with buying plants and fish from local pet stores, my fish developed a fungus of some sort, killed all of them and grew on my plants, driftwood and even the suction cups for the heater. To be safe drained the tank and let it dry out after a thoroughly rinsing off everything. (I also found snails which I removed as soon as spotted). At any rate your plants arrive even after being mailed in much better condition than any plants I purchased locally.  I do have one question though, in removing the plant I accidentally broke off the root from part of the Peacock Fern, can I plant the root and have it grow or root the top? Thanks again!  Molly

Every interaction I have had with Arizona Gardens has been overwhelmingly positive and even after just this one transaction I feel like a loyal customer. I have rarely received the kind of support and willingness to see me succeed. Thank you so much, you and the people you work with are superstars.  Second, my housemate added some plants onto my order so we could share the shipping cost and on the advice of someone at Arizona bought some glosso in addition to the clover he wanted. After some investigation of the glosso he has decided to change all of the plants to glosso, that is, keep the same number of glosso that he already has and for each clover he ordered he would  like another glosso instead. The glosso, is, once again, another fabulous recommendation from Arizona Gardens.  So I realize that this is another substitution to the order I originally placed last Tuesday and that I am probably that dreaded customer that changes things right up to the last minute (or maybe after the last minute). And for that I am really sorry. We are just beginning to learn about this hobby which, no doubt, contributes to us being such pests. But I hope you can bear with us without too much irritation (which you have never shown, even when I called right in the middle of your shipping session). We are extremely thankful and would/will recommend you to everyone we know.

I recieved my order today an am completely satisfied except for 2 items. One of the Dwarf Lily bulbs was hollow and of no value which I consider minor. The other however was I didn't receive any of the 2 madagascar lace bulbs I ordered. They were on the order and the invoice in the package. I did however get 3 Amazon Sword plants when I only ordered 2. two of the 3 were very large and I suspect this was a sub for the missing bulbs. Is this correct? Please let me know so the next time I order I can specify no subs if this is possible. The plants were in excellent condition which is more than I can say about other plants mailed to me from other mail order companies.   Regards,  Gene

Dear Az Aquatic,   I have been dealing with you for many years, 8 or so,  I have always had good luck with orders from your company.  You seem to continually outdo yourselves with the the quality of the plants and the way you pack your orders.  My order just arrived and I am so happy to write you this email to tell you I am very pleased with my contents!   I have never seen such gorgeous Anubias hastifolias or Ozelots swords in my life.  I also ordered some crypt balansae which are very fragile plants and they shipped fine.  (I am a 45 year veteran in this hobby)  I want to thank you for your kind attention to the packing of my order and wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas.   Many thanks,  Dr. Mitchell R.

  Just wanted to let you know my order arrived in great shape early on Friday.  The Giant Java Fern as promised is awesome.  My Christel Kasselmann Aquarium Plants book says that large leafed Java Fern is rarely seen in the hobby anymore and it looks fantastic as a back drop to my small leafed and windelov.  All plants sent were in great shape.  The Apon Madagascar is
especially magnificent.

I want to thank you for the excellent quality of your product.  I purchased your 100 gal S. American habitat.  Not only did the plants survive but they have flourished.  Not one has died or showed any sign of distress.  Instead they are growing without restraint.  Your algae eliminator is also the best I have used; it kills algae without harming plant growth. This is my third order from AZ Gardens and all I can say is THANK YOU! The quality of plants and level of service that I have receive have been excellent.  I have previously obtained plants from two different LFS's and in both cases was less than pleased.
