Vallisneria - Sold as 1 rooted plant

Native to North & Central America, Haiti, Venezuela, Japan

Lighting = Vallisneria lighting tips: Moderate to High=2.5 - 3.0+ watts per gallon, most will thrive in generally all water situations.  Hard to Kill. EZ to Grow!

Temp = Medium: 73-83F or 23-28C, Out here in Arizona our water in the Summer can get to 95 +m and in the Winter the water can be in the 50's.  These plants are still growing like weeds in all these conditions.

pH tips: Ideally in Neutral 7.0pH

WHAT ARE VALLISNERIA? Vals are a swampy grass that will add dramatic look to your aquarium. Vals are totally submersed, true aquatic grass. Try placing a few taller Vals in your foreground as an aquascaping idea....your fish will look grear swimming through the grass! Taller Vals will bend and flow at the top of your aquarium if allowed to grow that high. Trimming vals down won't hurt them.

ALL Vals with the exception of Corkscrew will generally grow as tall as you allow them to.  Simply give them a “haircut” to keep them at your desired height.

~We are mail order only & do not allow local pickups.  We only ship orders through UPS on Tues, Wed, & Thurs and we do not offer  weekend deliveries.

~ "Fish, Shrimp, & Snail Only" orders are shipped Tues night for Wed delivery pending availability.

~ "Plant Only" & "Live Animals w/Plants" orders are almost always delivered to you on Fridays pending availability.

~ We DO NOT sell sexed animals unless specified, please do not request paired or sexed fish.

~ Our minimum live good orders are $35.  There is NO minimum order amount for shipping dry good or non-perishable items.  You may combine Dry Goods and Live Goods to get to our $35.00 minimum.

~ YES, You may combine Fish, Shrimp & Snails with your Plant Orders and they are usually shipped in one box.

~ You must have your order placed by Monday night before we go home for same week delivery, agan, pending availability. Orders placed after our Monday deadline will ship the following week.
